Best Use Of Time...

BEST USE OF TIME…Wisdom is revealed in many forms. In some cases it’s revealed by restraint. In others it’s being able to understand all the options and chose the best one. In still others it’s the ability to understand the value of time and how to leverage it to the greatest advantage.
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time…” ~Eph. 5:15-16
Time is probably the most overlooked asset in peoples thoughts. We act as though there is an unending supply of it. Fact is, if we live 80 years on the earth we will have only 42 million minutes to spend from birth to death. That’s not much time at all. The wise somehow understand this and live out their lives according to their first priorities so as to not squander away their minutes and hours on lesser things. To undervalue our limited resource of time is a recipe for serious regrets. What is the best way to spend your day? Is it the things you do for yourself, or the things you do for others that adds the greatest meaning to you? And where does the daily works of Christ fit into your time-management? These are great questions to keep before us. I’m afraid many have fallen victim to the old Norwegian saying, “too soon old, too late smart”. In other words, too much time was spent on the lesser things, and now the asset of time has slipped away. May you and I seek with great diligence the wisdom to know the BEST USE OF TIME! ~verlon

  1. Yes, as I see more coming out about the generation of the lost, to which I was one...Who thought that the answers were in the substances of mind expansion and over excess of self gratification ....At best it seems it was and is a "Fool's errand" Admitting that we were fools is part of that process that shines a light on the truth of it...I like Eph 5: 13 "But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light." (reprove) ... 1. To voice or convey disapproval of; rebuke. 2. To find fault with. Yes, seeing the truth of it...means you see it for what it is and reprove it as a darkness. This is the wisdom of light and truth revealed that enables us to see we were in darkness and thinking we were in light at the time...The only true fool is the one who never knows he is being a fool and not the one who knows he has been one...This leads to a greater wisdom..Eph 5: 14 "Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light"...As I see my generation awake from this sleepy death of the living, I also see hope in the light and of the truth of it...At least others can see it for what it is and " walk not as fools but as wise" and not waste time on this foolishness...Carry this message now manifest in its truth, it is an obvious waste of time, and a dead end... (MANIFEST) 1 : readily perceived by the senses and especially by the sight 2 : easily understood or recognized by the mind : OBVIOUS

PS Prayer...Lord As I weep at the darkness of my generation fooled and lost, I ask for your forgiveness, Thank you for your light that delivers us from the darkness of deceptions ...The truth now means once lost yes.. But.. found once again in you and that light...It's time that it is...

  2. "Better to live in the joy of the truth, even at the sadness of its reality, than to live in sadness of a false deception, thinking it joy, and never knowing the truth." NC....A-men
